Be the answer inside the snippet, the People Also Ask box, and voice search, not just a ranking beneath it

For US small and mid-size businesses, med-spas, home services, dental and solo-legal practices, whose pages rank on the results page but never get pulled as the answer buyers actually read.

Every engagement is directed by a technical specialist and reviewed before delivery.

What this is

AEO Answer-Block and FAQ Build is Raveneye Global's focused service for capturing the answer features that sit on the classic results page: the featured snippet, the People Also Ask box, and the short spoken replies voice assistants read aloud. We take your priority pages and engineer the exact unit those features reward, a real buyer question phrased as a heading with a direct, self-contained answer of roughly forty to sixty words beneath it, followed by the elaboration and proof that earns trust. We build a supporting FAQ set on the same principle and mark it up with valid FAQPage schema for cleaner parsing, never as a promised rich result. The outcome is a set of pages structured to be lifted as the answer, in a world where engines retrieve passages rather than whole pages. It is one unit of the Search Surface Optimization method, the on-page answer craft, delivered on its own and measured by feature share.

The problem

Why this matters now

You can rank on page one for a question a buyer is asking, while the snippet at the top of the results, the one actually read, quotes a competitor. Google increasingly answers the question inside the results page itself, in a featured snippet, a People Also Ask panel, or a voice reply, and you can rank below that box while never appearing inside it. Ranking and being extracted as the answer are two different outcomes.

The reason is mechanical. Engines retrieve passages, not whole pages. If the direct answer to a question is buried three paragraphs down, phrased indirectly, or hidden inside a tab or an image, there is nothing clean for the engine to lift. Most pages are written to read well top to bottom, not to surrender a self-contained answer the moment an engine looks for one.

There is also a lot of stale advice in the market about FAQ markup. Google retired the visible FAQ rich result on 7 May 2026 (Search Engine Journal, 2026), so bolting FAQPage schema onto a page no longer earns a dropdown in the results. The answer craft still works, the old shortcut does not, and telling the two apart is exactly the kind of thing an expert-led build gets right.

This service closes that specific gap. It reshapes your priority content into the answer-block form the snippet, the People Also Ask box and voice answers reward, so your pages are eligible to be the answer, not just to sit near it.

How it works

The mechanism, made checkable

  1. 01

Inventory the answer surface and the real questions

We start by pulling the buyer questions your pages should own and read which answer features currently show for them: which queries trigger a featured snippet, which surface a People Also Ask box, which return a voice answer, and who is being extracted today. This becomes a ranked map of the gaps, so effort goes to the questions where an answer block can realistically be captured rather than to guesswork.

  2. 02

Diagnose the format gap on each priority page

For every target question, we check the existing page for whether it even offers something extractable: is the direct answer present in plain text, near the top, phrased as a self-contained response, or is it buried, indirect, or locked inside a tab, an accordion or an image. Engines retrieve passages, not whole pages, so a page can be excellent and still be un-liftable. We flag exactly what is blocking extraction on each one.

  3. 03

    Engineer the answer block

A specialist reshapes your priority passage into the workhorse shape the results page rewards: the buyer question as a heading, then a direct, self-contained answer of roughly forty to sixty words immediately beneath it, then the elaboration, context and proof that makes it trustworthy and keeps the rest of the page valuable. The concise lead answer is written to be lifted whole into a snippet or a spoken reply; the depth below it is written for the reader who clicks through.

  4. 04

    Build the supporting FAQ set

We add a genuine FAQ block of the adjacent questions a buyer actually asks, each answer self-contained on the same forty-to-sixty-word principle, so a single page can feed the featured snippet, several People Also Ask entries, and voice answers from one coherent piece of craft. Questions are drawn from real buyer intent, never padded to hit a count.

  5. 05

Mark it up for clean parsing, hand-verified

We apply valid FAQPage and, where it fits, QAPage JSON-LD, hand-verified so every engine parses the questions and answers cleanly. We state plainly that this is for parsing clarity, not for a visible rich result: Google retired the FAQ rich result on 7 May 2026 (Search Engine Journal, 2026), and the active ingredient is the answer content itself. The markup is never sold as a snippet lever.

  6. 06

Measure feature share and hand off

After the build, we track which target questions now surface your business in a featured snippet, a People Also Ask entry or a voice answer, reported as feature share with the date, engine and locale stamped on every reading, because these features personalize and move. What changed and what did not is reported, with variance, and a captured feature is never presented as guaranteed or permanent.

What is included

What is delivered

  • An answer-feature inventory across the priority buyer questions: which currently trigger a featured snippet, a People Also Ask box or a voice answer, and who is being extracted today.
  • A per-page extractability diagnosis identifying exactly what blocks each priority passage from being lifted, from buried answers to content hidden in tabs, accordions or images.
  • Answer blocks engineered on the priority pages: the buyer question as a heading, a direct self-contained answer of roughly forty to sixty words, then supporting depth and proof.
  • A supporting FAQ section of genuine adjacent buyer questions, each answer written self-contained for extraction, drawn from real intent rather than padded to a count.
  • Hand-verified FAQPage and QAPage JSON-LD, applied for clean parsing and validated, with a plain statement of what the markup does and does not do after the May 2026 rich-result change.
  • Voice-answer shaping of the lead answers, phrased for the short spoken reply an assistant reads aloud.
  • A feature-share measurement after the build, stamped with date, engine and locale, reporting which target questions now surface your business and which did not, with variance.
  • A prioritized list of any remaining pages worth the same treatment, so the work can extend in a sensible order.

The outcome

What it moves

  • Your priority pages reshaped so the direct answer to each target question is present, self-contained and near the top, the state an engine needs before it can extract anything.
  • A supporting FAQ set that lets one page feed the featured snippet, People Also Ask and voice answers from a single coherent piece of craft.
  • Answer content structured for passage retrieval, so your pages are eligible to be lifted as the answer rather than only to rank beneath it.
  • Clean, hand-verified FAQPage and QAPage markup that every engine parses correctly, applied for parsing value and never oversold as a rich-result trick.
  • A feature-share read that shows which questions now surface your business in an answer feature, stamped with date, engine and locale, so movement is visible clearly.
  • A body of answer-block craft that ladders directly into the wider Search Surface Optimization method if you later scope the full program.

What you get

What you get, and how it is priced

What this costs comes down to the site in front of it: a five-page service business and a forty-page practice need very different builds. Every build starts by inventorying the answer features already won and the ones missing, and scope is confirmed in writing before any content is touched. Below is exactly what the service includes, how it is delivered, and the scope levels it comes in.

Priority-Page Answer Build. A focused build on a defined set of your highest-intent pages. We inventory the answer features for their target questions, diagnose the format gap, engineer the answer block and a supporting FAQ on each, apply and verify the markup, and take a feature-share read after. Best when a handful of money pages need to start being extracted as the answer. Page set and deliverables confirmed in writing after the inventory.Quoted
Site-Wide Answer & FAQ System. The full answer-surface treatment across your site: a complete question inventory, answer blocks and FAQ built into every page that warrants one, a consistent markup standard applied and verified site-wide, and a feature-share baseline you can track against. Best for practices and multi-service businesses with many questions to own. Scope set to your page count and confirmed before work begins; the exact figure agreed directly.Quoted

You see the full deliverables and cadence first, then a price built for your business, confirmed in writing.

Questions about AEO Answer-Block & FAQ Build

How is this different from your AI Answer and GEO service?

This service works the answer features on the classic results page: the featured snippet, the People Also Ask box and voice answers, which are decided by Google's and Bing's own ranking and passage systems. The AI Answer and GEO service works the generative engines, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and AI Overviews, where a model writes a reply and cites a shortlist, measured as Share-of-Answer. The answer-block craft here is a foundation both surfaces benefit from, but they are distinct outcomes that need distinct measurement, which is why we scope them separately.

Didn't Google kill FAQ rich results? Is this still worth doing?

Google retired the visible FAQ rich result, the expandable dropdown under a listing, on 7 May 2026 (Search Engine Journal, 2026). What it did not retire is the value of clean answer content. FAQPage remains a valid Schema.org type that Google still parses, and the featured snippet, People Also Ask and voice answers all still pull from self-contained question-and-answer passages. So we build the answer craft that those live features reward, and apply the markup for its genuine parsing value. The old dropdown is gone; the value now sits in the answer craft itself.

What exactly do you guarantee?

Nothing about the result. Featured snippets, People Also Ask placements and voice answers personalize, change, and are selected by systems no one outside the engine controls. We commit to method and measurement: your pages are engineered into the extractable form these features reward, then a report shows which target questions actually surfaced your business, with the date, engine and locale stamped and variance shown. Every claim is shown with the working behind it.

You are based overseas. Who actually does the work?

Raveneye Global, operated by RavenGroup Global Tech Private Limited, bills in USD and serves US businesses. Every answer block is written and reviewed by a technical specialist before delivery. The work is measured against US engines, US buyer questions and US local results, and every feature-share reading is stamped with the exact locale and engine it was taken on. What you are buying is an engineering standard and a measured outcome, not a time zone.

How do I know this is not AI slop dressed up as consulting?

Because a specialist reads the intent of each question and writes the answer to be both extractable and genuinely useful to the reader who clicks through, and because the FAQ is drawn from real buyer questions rather than padded to a number. The markup is hand-verified against how engines actually parse, not generated and left unchecked. Every deliverable is directed by a technical specialist and reviewed before delivery, and the work is attributed to the method and the measured feature share, never to any tooling behind it.

How is the read backed up?

The method is published and the measurement is shown, not asserted. Every build is directed and reviewed by a technical specialist with years of hands-on work in search and AI visibility. The methodology page documents how answer craft fits the wider Search Surface Optimization approach and how feature share is measured, with the date, engine and locale on every reading. The answer-block shape is grounded in named, dated sources, including the peer-reviewed GEO study (Aggarwal et al., KDD 2024) on what engines actually lift, and what recent engine changes, like the May 2026 FAQ change, mean for the build is stated plainly. You can check the reasoning yourself.

Why is this scoped instead of a fixed price?

Because the work is set to your pages and the questions in play, not a template. A five-page service site with a handful of money questions needs a very different build from a forty-page practice with dozens. Publishing one price would either overcharge the simple case or under-deliver the complex one. We publish the full deliverables, inventory your answer surface, then agree the exact figure directly.

How will I know it worked?

After the build, we take a feature-share read: for each target question, whether your business now appears in the featured snippet, a People Also Ask entry or a voice answer, compared with the baseline taken first. Every reading carries its date, engine and locale, because these features move and personalize. The questions that surfaced your business and the ones that did not are both reported, with variance, producing a complete picture rather than a cherry-picked win.
